Meet Alison

Hi, I’m Alison Piccolino—and I’m running to serve on Bethel Park Council because I believe in the power of community and the importance of public service.

As the daughter of a dedicated public servant, I’ve always understood what it means to put your community first. For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked in community-based roles for the Senate of Pennsylvania, making sure our neighbors have access to the programs and services they need. Today, I serve as Director of External Affairs, where I continue to advocate for the people of our region.

Beyond my professional work, I’m deeply involved in the life of our town. I’m a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh (B.S.) and Carlow University (M.B.A.), and a mother to three students in the Bethel Park School District. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Bethel Soccer Association and volunteer regularly to help make our community stronger.

Bethel Park is more than just where I live—it’s home. My husband and I are raising our family here, and we’re grateful every day for the opportunities and support this community has given us. I want to give back by helping shape the future of Bethel Park through thoughtful leadership and dedicated service.

Safety is a cornerstone of a thriving community. I’m committed to supporting our police and fire departments, ensuring our roads are safe to walk, our codes protect us, and emergency care is always within reach. I’m proud to be endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 1.

Enriching Lives Through Recreation

Our Community Center and Recreation Department are hidden gems—and it’s time we shine a brighter light on them. I want to promote and expand their programs, services, and partnerships
